Getting started
Choose what to record: the whole screen, an area or one window, plus computer sound, a microphone and a camera if you like.
Record: press Record (or Ctrl+Shift+R). Pause and stop from the small recording bar; Aircast's own windows never show up in the video.
Edit: the editor zooms in where you click and smooths the cursor by itself. Trim, cut silences, add captions (the first time downloads the speech model once), titles, a background and camera layouts.
Export: MP4 or GIF. Recordings stay in the recordings folder on your computer.

Full version
Every feature is free for 7 days. After that everything keeps working, but exported videos carry a small mark.
Mac App Store: Settings › Full version › Buy full version. Bought it on another Mac? Use Restore purchase there.
Windows: buy at doublehash.app/aircast. The licence key appears right after payment — paste it into Settings › Full version and press Activate. The key works on your own computers and for future versions, offline. Keep it somewhere safe; if you lose it, email us your receipt.
Microsoft Store: the same as the Windows download — buy at doublehash.app and paste the key in the same place. Windows keeps the Store version's settings apart from the zip version's, so a key entered in one has to be entered once more in the other.

Updating
Mac App Store: the App Store installs updates (App Store › Updates, or turn on automatic updates).
Microsoft Store: the Store installs updates by itself (Microsoft Store › Library).
Windows download (zip): Aircast checks once a day and shows Update to … next to Settings on the home screen when a new version is out. Download the new zip, quit Aircast, and replace the old folder (or just aircast.exe) with the new one. Your settings and licence key are kept — they live in your user settings folder, not next to the app.
The Windows download opens here when Aircast is released.
Mac은 App Store, Microsoft Store판은 Store가 업데이트합니다. Windows zip판은 새 버전이 나오면 앱에 ‘업데이트’ 표시가 뜹니다. 새 zip을 받아 앱을 끄고 파일을 바꾸면 되며, 설정과 라이선스 키는 그대로 남습니다.
