Getting started
Find it: Airshot lives in the menu bar (Mac) or the notification area by the clock (Windows). Click the icon for every capture mode; on Windows a left click starts an area capture right away.
Capture: drag over an area, or choose Full Screen or Previous Area from the menu. Scrolling capture follows a long page; Capture Text copies the words instead of the picture.
Mark up: after a capture, arrows, rectangles, text, numbered steps, highlighter, spotlight, blur and pixelate are in the toolbar. Hide keys, passwords, emails and card numbers automatically from Settings.
Keep it: copy, save, or pin it on top of other windows. Every capture also goes to the Capture Library, where you can reopen and edit it or search the text in it.

Change or add shortcuts (previous area, scrolling, text, pin clipboard) in Settings › Shortcuts. On a Mac, macOS's own screenshot shortcuts may need turning off in System Settings › Keyboard › Keyboard Shortcuts › Screenshots. On Windows 11, Print Screen may belong to the Snipping Tool — Airshot's Settings shows how to give it back.
Full version
Every feature is free for 7 days. After that everything keeps working, but copied and saved captures carry a small mark.
Mac App Store: Settings › Full version › Buy full version. Bought it on another Mac? Use Restore purchase there.
Windows: buy at doublehash.app/airshot. The licence key appears right after payment — paste it into Settings › Full version and press Activate. The key works on your own computers and for future versions, offline. Keep it somewhere safe; if you lose it, email us your receipt.
Microsoft Store: the same as the Windows download — buy at doublehash.app and paste the key in the same place. Windows keeps the Store version's settings apart from the zip version's, so a key entered in one has to be entered once more in the other.

Updating
Mac App Store: the App Store installs updates (App Store › Updates, or turn on automatic updates).
Microsoft Store: the Store installs updates by itself (Microsoft Store › Library).
Windows download (zip): Airshot checks once a day and shows Update to … at the top of the tray menu (and in Settings) when a new version is out. Download the new zip, quit Airshot, and replace the old folder (or just airshot.exe) with the new one. Your settings and licence key are kept — they live in your user settings folder, not next to the app.
Mac은 App Store, Microsoft Store판은 Store가 업데이트합니다. Windows zip판은 새 버전이 나오면 앱에 ‘업데이트’ 표시가 뜹니다. 새 zip을 받아 앱을 끄고 파일을 바꾸면 되며, 설정과 라이선스 키는 그대로 남습니다.
